West Ward Directions

Ivy Hill Elementary School

• Walk 2 minutes ( 0.1 miles) toward Sanford ave to Ivy st. and take the number 1 bus. 
• Get off at Ferry St. at Niagara St. and walk east toward Sommet St. and turn left onto Sommet
• When you turn onto Sommet St. walk 9 minutes (0.4 miles) until you reach Riverfront park 
• Upon entering Riverfront park head toward the waterfront and turn left and walk a few hundred feet and the dock will be on the left

Lincoln School

• Walk 5 minutes ( 0.3 miles) toward 18th Ave at Mead St and take the number 1 bus 
• Get off at Ferry St. at Niagara St. and walk east toward Sommet St. and turn left onto Sommet 
• When you turn onto Sommet St. walk 9 minutes (0.4 miles) until you reach Riverfront park 
• Upon entering Riverfront park head toward the waterfront and turn left and walk a few hundred feet and the dock will be on the left

University High School

• Walk to Randolph, turn left on Clinton Pl
• Walk towards Clinton Ave 
• At the intersection go to the bus stop and take the 13 ( for 3 minutes)
• Stay on the bus until Broad St at Market St ( For 17 minutes)
• Then at the intersection cross the street to the left
• Take the 1 to Ferry St at Niagara St (9 minutes) 
• From there walk to Soume st, keep on walking on that street until you reach Raymond Blvd(9 minute walk)
• Cross the street to entrance of the riverfront, then turn left and you should see the dock on the right

• Walk 8 min ( 0.4 miles) to 16th ave at south 13th st
• Catch the 1 for 23 min ( 22 stops)
• Get off on ferry at niagara st 
• Walk 9 min ( 0.4 mil) to Newark Riverfront Park Boat Dock

Mount Vernon School

• Catch the 1 at Ivy Hill Loop (MT Vernon Pl) towards Euclid ave via Lockwood st -Exact Fare
• Get off at Ferry St at Niagara St.
• Turn left on Somme St.
• Continue to walk straight for 5 minutes and your destination will be in front of you
